What are your views regarding the movie "Amistad"?

I found the movie ,which was based on a true story to be extremely disturbing.The Black Africans were treated worse than animals by the racist and greedy Spaniards on that famouse ship called "Amistad",which means friendship in Spanish.It tore to my heart to see the part where the Queen of Spain had the oppourtunity to free the sufering slaves but didn'tdo so.For her the power that leads from the wealth of slave labor was more important to her.Racism was at it's fullest in this movie.
