I had the marina coil fitted nearly three weeks ago!!! i havnt stopped bleeding since, is this normal?

i had the mirena coil fitted and it took six months for everything to settle down,,,,,, i bled constant for the first 6 weeks then my periods were very irregular until six months had ped then they settled right down and now i hardly ever bleed with my periods,, i sure hope yours settles down but you have to give it time, i was like you at first i was sure there was something wrong but after speaking with doc felt ured that it takes quite a while for your body to adjust,,, hope all goes well for you xx
