Is this Mini bat worth anything?

My wife's dad gave me a mini bat about a year ago that he found while cleaning out my wife's great grandmothers house. The bat is made of wood, which looks very old, it has "Jimmie Fox" inscribed in the bat but it is not an autograph. The bat was made by Louisville Slugger as it is inscribed on one side of the bat along with some other writing that has faded over time. There are no other markings anywhere. Wondering if anyone knows anything about a bat like this. Based on the color of the wood, I would say it was probably buried in her basement for 50 yrs or longer. Thanks for your help.
