How can i convince my mum...?

how can i convince my mum to let me go to belfast on my own =D ive been wanting to go there for the last year or so(because i know about 40 people over there and a few of their parents have even offered to let me stay with them) but she's not letting me!!! she says its cos she doesnt trust people but i know its just cos she doesnt really want me to do something i want to do!.. :'(
