Dentures? 3 part question.?

I need to get dentures.No doubt about it.Have lost several teeth the last few years.Have had a bad tooth infection a year ago .So i dont need to have all my teath extracted just for cosmetic reasons .They are in such poor condition that they are causeing me problems.I know I will need both lower and upper dentures.....First question is How long will i be without dentures after my teeth are extracted? Im not looking for high end dentures at first.I just want to look normal.2nd question . What can i expect to have to pay for dentures? 3rd Question. Can you explain different types of dentures? Explain , cost and ways they fit etc. Im a otherwise fairly healty 40 yr old male.Thanks In advance
