Does hard dog food supposed to smell sour?
I bought a bag of Purina® Puppy Chow® brand Puppy Food Healthy Morsels™ Soft & Crunchy Bites for my growing puppy. The food doesn't smell how dog food should smell. Smells sour. But I was told Purina makes high quality food. Is it still safe to feed my puppy?

I just bought a bag of Purina gig chow and it smelled sour too. I've never had that happen before. I fed them one meal out of the bag and woke up to doggy diarrhea everywhere. What I bought I'd going back to the store and I will switch brands. Hope your pup didn't get sick.
